The First Nations Youth Natural Resources Training Program is a seven-week summer work and training experience for First Nations youth who are interested in future employment in the natural resources industries. Designed and administered by Blue Collar Silviculture, Ltd., a Quesnel-based silviculture contractor, the program provides a supportive, safe and structured environment in which participants develop the skills necessary to take advantage of the many opportunities available to them. Successful graduates complete the season not only in possession of these skills, but also with a new level of confidence in their abilities - and in themselves.
